Job Title: Child and Family Mental Clinician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Family Mental Clinician to join our team at Rosecrance Jackson Centers, Inc. in Sioux City, IA. As a key member of our outpatient clinical team, you will provide mental health treatment services for adolescents, children, and their families to decrease hospitalization and crisis episodes and to increase community functioning.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and/or family members.
  • Complete client psychosocial and individualized treatment plans within required timeframes.
  • Identify client clinical and case management needs and work to address those needs.
  • Educate clients and client support members regarding all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues, and steps to recovery.
  • Undertake primary case management responsibilities for designated clients.
  • Ensure that documentation in client service records is maintained consistent with expectations defined by licensing, accreditation, and funding requirements.
  • Maintain communications with all staff, including admissions, case management, and discharge plans.
  • Present workshops, lectures, and training to clients, families, and staff and community groups.
  • Serve as a member of the team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  • Exercise confidentiality in keeping with the Code of Conduct and with the framework of the law.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies, or other related field.
  • Iowa license of a tLMHC or LMSW required or independently licensed in Iowa as a LISW, LMFT, or LMHC (preferred).
  • Proficiency in using common computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Skilled in navigating and documenting within electronic healthcare records systems.
  • Capable of completing required documentation accurately and within established timeframes.
  • Experienced in providing individual, family, and group counseling.
  • Collaborative team player with a strong ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance.
