Classification: Full-Time Non-Exempt
Department: Marketing
Reports to: Department Administrator
Position Category: Non-Managerial
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and communicate eligibility requirements for government-sponsored benefits.
- Assist community members with inquiries and applications related to government benefits.
- Participate in external marketing initiatives and community outreach events.
- Maintain confidentiality and safeguard personal information of community members.
- Adhere to Anti-Kickback regulations and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Support the orientation and training of new team members.
- Collaborate positively with fellow team members to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Engage with Carrier Representatives to facilitate benefit processes.
- Provide patient support and maintain regular interaction with community members.
- Plan and attend community events to promote available benefits.
- Optimize work processes to minimize downtime and prepare for future community needs.
- Stay informed on changes in guidelines and requirements for government-sponsored benefits.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with the eligibility and application processes for government benefits such as food assistance and healthcare programs.
- Previous experience in a community support role is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency is required; Spanish is preferred.
- Experience in sales or marketing is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Must be adaptable to various work locations and schedules based on operational needs.
- Proficient in computer usage and technology.
- Demonstrated ability to respond flexibly to changing situations and priorities.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to the role.
Working Conditions:
This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel required for community outreach and events. The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, and reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
