Position Category: Non-Managerial

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and communicate eligibility requirements for government-sponsored benefits.
  • Assist community members with inquiries and applications related to government benefits.
  • Participate in external marketing initiatives and community outreach events.
  • Maintain confidentiality and safeguard personal information of community members.
  • Adhere to Anti-Kickback regulations and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Support the orientation and training of new team members.
  • Collaborate positively with fellow team members to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Engage with Carrier Representatives to facilitate benefit processes.
  • Provide patient support and maintain regular interaction with community members.
  • Plan and attend community events to promote available benefits.
  • Optimize work processes to minimize downtime and prepare for future community needs.
  • Stay informed on changes in guidelines and requirements for government-sponsored benefits.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with the eligibility and application processes for government benefits such as food assistance and healthcare programs.
  • Previous experience in a community support role is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency is required; Spanish is preferred.
  • Experience in sales or marketing is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be adaptable to various work locations and schedules based on operational needs.
  • Proficient in computer usage and technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond flexibly to changing situations and priorities.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures relevant to the role.

Working Conditions:

This position is primarily office-based with occasional travel required for community outreach and events. The work environment is typically moderate in noise level, and reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
