Qualifications:

Education:
Associate's Degree from an accredited NLN/CCNE or ARRT Vocational/Specialized Training, including relevant coursework, seminars, or certifications is required.

Experience:
Less than 10 months of experience in Radiologic Technology is required.

Licenses and Certifications:
Radiology ARRT - Radiology Tech License ARRT is required upon hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within 60 days.
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) AZ State Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License is required.

Responsibilities:

Job Summary:
The Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist is responsible for executing high-quality radiological procedures within the cardiovascular labs, adhering to established regulations and standards. This role requires the application of ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to ensure patient safety and timely service as directed by the physician. Responsibilities include quality control and maintenance of department equipment and supplies, as well as providing surgical scrub assistance to physicians and supporting the RN with direct patient care.

  • Independently demonstrates the ability to utilize evidence-based clinical knowledge to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment plan for cardiovascular patients through the setup and operation of diagnostic and treatment devices in the cardiovascular suite.
  • Collaborates with medical staff and department leadership to recommend and maintain the supply chain of products in the cardiovascular suite.
  • Works with medical staff and department leadership to train and monitor the performance of all personnel in the cardiovascular suite.
  • Stays current with organizational regulatory standards and CMS regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
