Way Engineering, a leading mechanical contractor, is seeking a skilled VDC Coordinator to drive the successful deployment of virtual design and construction initiatives. With extensive experience in the AEC industry, this role requires strong technical knowledge of Autodesk packages, contractor-facing authoring tools, and field measurement/modeling technologies.

About the Role

This position involves working closely with project teams to establish BIM/VDC execution strategies, providing project-specific support, and overseeing the implementation of Way's best practices for efficient VDC delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in Navisworks Manage, and have experience with trade partner BIM qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement VDC initiatives and technology platforms on projects
  • Collaborate with project teams to create BIM/VDC execution plans and provide project-specific support
  • Manage project-specific VDC strategies, scope, and plans, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements

The selected candidate will join a fast-paced team environment, where they will work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project goals. Strong presentation skills and confidence in speaking to small or large groups are essential for this role. Additionally, the ability to learn new software tools quickly and apply information to support BIM/VDC operations is crucial.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-7+ years of construction technologies experience in the AEC industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of Autodesk packages, contractor-facing authoring tools, and field measurement/modeling technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a flat-organization environment requiring transparency, team collaboration, and socialization of initiatives

We offer a competitive salary, with an estimated annual compensation range of $85,000 - $120,000, depending on experience.
