Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Coordinator - Enterprise Communication Specialist to join our team at Health First.

This is a high-stress position that involves operating the hospital's communication systems, handling calls, announcing emergencies, and providing after-hours answering services for healthcare providers across all four hospital locations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Emergency Response: Promptly announce and broadcast emergency codes across all hospital areas according to established protocols, ensuring rapid response and patient safety based upon internal guidelines and procedure documentation.
  2. Communication Operations: Efficiently operate multi-line telephone systems to handle high volume of incoming calls, including connecting callers to patient rooms, departments, physicians, and hospital staff.
  3. Customer Service: Deliver superior customer service to callers by addressing inquiries, providing information, and directing calls to appropriate personnel or departments.
  4. Logistics and Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of all incoming calls, messages, and emergency incidents for reference and reporting purposes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need strong leadership skills, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills. You must also adhere to policies and procedures related to patient confidentiality, emergency preparedness, and safety protocols.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is around $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
