Position DetailsJob Type: Full-time
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
- 1st shift: 5am-5pm
- 2nd shift: 5pm-5am
- No weekend shifts
In this position, you will be responsible for operating and managing the equipment, either independently or as part of a two-person team, depending on the machine in use. Our machinery is designed for printing, coating, and converting, making it highly adaptable for producing a range of tapes, labels, and custom adhesive products. The equipment can handle dual webs or a single web, allowing for graphic printing, adhesive coating, and die-cutting in a single operation.
Key Skills Required- Previous experience in production or manufacturing machine operation (2+ years preferred).
- Basic mechanical maintenance skills and aptitude.
- Experience in quality inspection and handling machine systems.
- Intermediate computer proficiency.
- Dependability and reliability are essential.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to interpret and follow work instructions, training manuals, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare and load paper rolls at the coater unwind and unload finished rolls at the coater rewind.
- Set up and operate various print stations, including Flexographic, Gravure, silicone, hotmelt, and rotary die-cutting stations.
- Understand and adhere to quality standards, conducting inspections using automated equipment and performing standard tests.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports, noting any issues that may affect process quality and ensuring compliance with product specifications.
- Minimize waste by following established procedures.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
