Job Summary

The Helen Ross McNabb Center is seeking a highly skilled Reimbursement Specialist to join our team. As a Reimbursement Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive accurate and timely reimbursement for their services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and verify client insurance coverage to ensure accurate reimbursement.
  • Enter data into our billing system and update client benefit information in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform auditing and resolution-centered activities to identify and resolve insurance errors.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external sources to resolve claims issues and provide excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to identify process improvements and implement changes to enhance our services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Extensive knowledge of insurance guidelines, including HMO/PPO, Commercial, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, TN Care's, Medicaid, and Private Pay.
  • Advanced use of computer systems, software, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, with a positive and professional attitude.
