We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Insurance Specialist to join our team at US Oncology Network-wide Career Opportunities. Responsibilities
  • Review and audit aging patient accounts to ensure accurate and timely payments
  • Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and other professionals to resolve account discrepancies
  • Identify errors on accounts and follow through to conclusion
  • Verify and obtain necessary patient insurance and benefit coverage information
  • Collaborate with the billing department to resolve account issues
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • At least one year of prior experience in a similar position (accounts receivable, insurance verification, electronic billing)
