Job Title: Payroll Specialist

At Mindcare Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's payroll function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payrolls, and compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process multiple payrolls (bi-weekly, monthly) for salaried and hourly employees.
  • Accurately calculate employee wages and salaries, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate payroll records for all employees.
  • Prepare and generate payroll reports as requested by management or auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 1 to 3 years' experience processing payroll.
  • Knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will have experience using PayChex and be familiar with the corporate practice of medicine. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential. The successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate with patients/team members/customers and clearly express themselves while exchanging information.
