The Opportunity
We're seeking an Operations Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive data analysis, generating insightful reports, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns, including commission structure reporting, variance reports, and market trend tracking.
- Develop and maintain KPI metrics and dashboards, including custom tracking for specific modes and management of input and monitoring of Client Success training dashboards.
- Create visualizations and detailed reports to communicate findings to stakeholders, utilizing tools such as Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven improvements, including meeting with stakeholders to determine process improvement and regular meetings with leadership across all modes at Steam Logistics.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes, working with IT on Salesforce/Revenova-related changes and managing and maintaining visualizations on new and current sales processes.
Requirements
- Ability to lead collaborative meetings and demonstrate competency in system improvements.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain movements, including brokerage experience or industry equivalent.
- Competency in Power BI and strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables, data analytics, and formula creation.
- Thorough understanding of viable data and its application to freight spend/management.
