The Fire Alarm Safety Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of fire alarm systems. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine inspections, testing, and services of life safety product lines
- Handling low-voltage wiring and corresponding devices for the operation of low-voltage equipment
- Operating with minimal supervision while performing fire protection inspections
- Communicating daily with project managers and schedule coordinators on inspection or project delays, requirements, and status
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- NICET Level II or III certification
- Strong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes
- A valid driver's license, with or without reasonable accommodation
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Regular bending, reaching, climbing, and walking
