Mitigation Technologist

Job Description:

Paul Davis is seeking a skilled and versatile individual to fill the role of a Driver-Mitigation Technician. This unique position combines the responsibilities of a company driver with the expertise of a mitigation technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a 20ft box truck with a lift gate on local runs, ensuring safe and timely delivery of shipments.
• Perform mitigation work, including water, fire, and mold remediation, as needed to fill in time gaps and create opportunities for full-time hours.
• Be familiar with pick-up and drop-off warehouse procedures, as well as DOT safety inspections and regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the box truck, both internally and externally.
• When not driving, contribute to mitigation assignments, including performing water, fire, or mold damage assignments, communicating with customers, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Nevada Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, lift up to 50lbs regularly, and wear a respirator.
• OSHA 10 certification or ability to obtain at time of hire.
• IICRC certification preferred or familiarity with IICRC S500 standards.

Working Conditions:

• 40+ hours per week during busy season.
• Full-time position with holiday pay, PTO, and health benefits.

Compensation: $18-$30/hour, based on experience.
