Business Operations Manager

Responsibilities- Business Administration
- Manage day-to-day business objectives.
- Coordinate with tax and compliance specialists to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Audit company records to ensure accuracy of financial and inventory information.
- Organize and maintain corporate documentation and prepare business filings.
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to support shipping and receiving of goods.
- Assist with preparing year-end financial statements.
- Business Improvement
- Provide guidance and recommendations regarding the most effective corporate structure for various business goals.
- Research and continually monitor domestic and international corporate structures and brief senior leadership on business implications.
- Identify, recommend, and implement initiatives to continuously improve business operations.
- Customer Service
- Provide quality service to customers, vendors, and business partners.
- Organize, draft, and/or edit team products to meet customer requirements.
- Draft and outline team proposals for customer approval.
- Conduct research, analysis, report writing, and report editing for the team.
- Prepare monthly status updates based on cross-functional team's accomplishments, milestones met, deliverables submitted, and upcoming activities or plans.
- Review monthly invoicing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure customer deadlines are met and deliverables satisfy specific requirements.
- Create and update databases to ensure team's work is accurately documented and maintained in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
- Qualifications
- BS/BA degree.
- 2 or more years of professional experience.
- Exhibit positive and professional demeanor and ability to work well with a small team.
- Exercise ability to effectively communicate issues, concerns, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to personnel with varying degrees of knowledge.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
