Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced firmware validation engineer to join our Camera Systems Engineering Group. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test frameworks for camera system firmware validation and regression testing, deploying and supporting test frameworks across multiple sites, and generating reports.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement test frameworks for camera system firmware validation and regression testing
Deploy and support test frameworks across multiple sites
Generate reports on test results
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, develop, test, and qualify camera hardware for Apple products
Participate in the development of subsystem and system-level tests to characterize and/or guarantee parametric specifications

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics, or equivalent experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in a relevant field, including firmware development, validation, and testing
Expertise in Matlab/Simulink and Matlab GUIs
Proficiency with Python, version control utilities, and automated build systems
Familiarity with dynamics systems modeling and control is desirable
Familiarity with C/C++ coding and experience in firmware development is desirable
Great interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate across groups, great verbal and written communication skills, and proven ability to take ownership of complicated problems and see them through to completion

Estimated Salary Range
$175,800 - $312,200 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role
This role is part of our Camera Technologies group, which is responsible for the systems-level analysis, design, and development of new camera features and technologies for performance enhancement. The team is seeking an exceptional firmware validation engineer to design, implement, and maintain validation platforms.
