Messer North America, Inc. is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective diagnostics and repairs on our fleet of tractors and trailers.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct mileage and time-based preventative maintenance as scheduled
- Complete visual inspections to capture defects and hazards before they become an issue
- Repair equipment upon failures to ensure safe and reliable operation
- Manage parts inventory to decrease downtime
- Collaborate with site management and local vendors to schedule equipment repairs
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of mechanical experience or certification from a diesel mechanic trade school
- Valid driver's license
