Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Safety Specialist to join our team at Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH company. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and implementing our organization's safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform instrument calibration independently in the field.
  • Support all environmental, safety, and health programs as a constant advocate for safe working practices.
  • Assist with maintaining required regulatory records and documentation of IDEM, SHA, and OSHA.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of safety principles and regulations. You should be able to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, and respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. A valid driver's license is required, and you must be willing to work overtime in the field during the internship period.
