Overview: Meritus Health is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neonatologist to become a vital member of our dedicated team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional medical care to premature and critically ill newborns, as well as healthy infants. Our facility is committed to providing the highest quality of care, having supported nearly two thousand births in the previous year.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver medical care for premature infants, those with complex health issues, and newborns in the nursery.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, lactation consultants, and dieticians to create comprehensive care plans for newborns.
  • Work within the Special Care Nursery and Newborn Nursery to ensure infants receive essential nutrition and treatment.
  • Adhere to established perinatal standards and guidelines for neonatal care.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a residency program in Pediatrics.
  • Completion of a fellowship in Neonatology.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neonatology.
