Job Summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler System Inspector to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler System Inspector, you will be responsible for performing building sprinkler and fire alarm inspections, testing devices, and generating reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of building sprinkler and fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Test and verify the functionality of sprinkler control panels, devices, and systems.
  • Generate accurate and detailed reports of inspection results.
  • Collaborate with the Inspection Manager to collect data and generate necessary paperwork.
  • Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss inspection results and best practices.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a Sprinkler/Fire Alarm Inspector.
  • Sprinkler & Fire Alarm license or NICET level 2 certificate.
  • Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, program schematics, and operational/product manuals.
  • Proficiency in using test equipment, including sensitivity test equipment, multi-meters, battery analyzers, sound level meters, and communicating devices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and demonstrate excellent teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a physically demanding role.
