We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Maintenance Specialist for our first shift operations. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our facility.

We value energetic candidates who possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to responsibility. The work schedule is Monday through Friday during the first shift. Previous experience in custodial or warehouse roles is not mandatory; we encourage entry-level applicants with a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness of the facility to adhere to company standards.
  • Perform daily sweeping and mopping of warehouse floors.
  • Clean various areas including offices, restrooms, staircases, and other workspaces.
  • Ensure the exterior of the building is tidy, including entrance areas.
  • Conduct snow removal around building entrances as necessary.
  • Handle minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, restocking bathroom supplies, and painting.
  • Empty and clean wastebaskets and trash receptacles.
  • Execute additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is eager to succeed. Candidates should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and attention to detail are essential.

While prior cleaning or warehouse maintenance experience is preferred, it is not a requirement. Regular, punctual attendance is crucial for this role. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).

Physical capability to meet job demands is necessary. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required, with accommodations considered in accordance with the law. All candidates will undergo a background check, pre-employment drug screening, and a physical examination.

Equipment Utilized:

  • Two-wheeled hand truck
  • Electric and hydraulic pallet jack
  • Powered floor scrubber

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional walking and climbing stairs.
  • Frequent two-handed lifting and handling of products and pallets.
  • Regular pushing and pulling of hand trucks and pallet jacks on level surfaces.
