About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to join our Data Ventures team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and engineering integrations for complex enterprise systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing insights to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Engineering: Develop and implement scalable, cloud-native platforms and applications with a focus on data science and analytics.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and drive resolution, and partner with business stakeholders to define priorities and user acceptance criteria.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to small groups of engineers, and assist in the development of action plans to drive business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot business and production issues, and drive the development of solutions to reduce future issues.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in mobile development, cloud native platforms, and data science and analytics.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive business objectives through technical expertise.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a focus on staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
