Job OverviewAs an Account Assistant, Employee Benefits, you will play a vital role in supporting our Account Managers and Producers in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This entry-level position requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and submit changes/enrollments to carriers, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Run quotes for renewals and new groups, providing clients with competitive pricing options
  • Prepare and submit proposals for renewals and new groups, highlighting the benefits of our services
  • Manage compliance requirements for clients in HR Services, ensuring all necessary documents are submitted on time
  • Prepare and obtain signed Business Associate Agreements from new clients, maintaining confidentiality and security
  • Update Instant Benefits for clients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Enter all correspondence, renewals, and new groups into Epic, maintaining a comprehensive record of client interactions

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; knowledge of or experience in the insurance industry preferred
  • Life, Accident & Health License required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as EPIC and Carrier Web Sites
  • Ability to establish and develop strong relationships with clients, carriers, and coworkers
