Position Overview:
The Retail Banking Office Manager plays a pivotal role in driving branch performance and service excellence. This position is integral to fostering a culture of growth and community engagement within WSFS Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee branch operations to achieve growth and service objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5 to 12 associates, ensuring they meet or exceed performance targets.
- Conduct regular assessments of branch activities to ensure alignment with organizational strategies.
- Manage administrative functions, including budgeting and compliance, to ensure operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and enhance the team's selling and service capabilities.
- Make informed business decisions that benefit both customers and the bank.
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of the branch.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in retail banking is required.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in a retail banking setting is essential.
- Proven track record in business development and branch operations is necessary.
- Strong understanding of deposit and retail loan products, as well as familiarity with business lending.
- Knowledge of financial principles, including interest computation and payment structures.
- Excellent coaching and communication skills are critical for success in this role.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications is required.
