Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Telecommunications Construction Laborer. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a dynamic and challenging work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to the construction, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Telecommunications Construction Laborer, your responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting in the installation and upkeep of telecommunications equipment, such as poles, wires, and fiber optic cables.
2. Utilizing various tools and equipment to perform construction tasks.
3. Adhering to safety regulations and standards during all work activities.
4. Collaborating with team members to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
5. Conducting routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
6. Engaging in wire pulling and outside plant (OSP) fiber construction.
7. Identifying and reporting potential safety hazards to supervisors.
8. Supporting other general labor tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, candidates should possess:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar construction role.
2. Proven skills in using personal protective equipment (PPE), performing construction labor, pulling wire, OSP fiber construction, and installing and maintaining poles.
3. Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding physical tasks.
4. A solid understanding of safety regulations and standards in the construction field.
5. The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
7. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
