Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:

  • Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage monthly consolidation and prepare financial reports in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Lead month-end closing activities and ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct cash management and forecasting to optimize liquidity.
  • Analyze financial outcomes to provide insights and variance assessments across the organization.
  • Develop and standardize monthly reporting dashboards and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Review and enhance reporting packages for clarity and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on new accounting regulations and ensure compliance.

  • Identify inefficiencies and spearhead process improvement initiatives.
  • Support external reporting requirements, including preparation of footnotes and management discussions.
  • Assist in integrating reporting systems post-merger as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • MBA and/or CPA designation is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, particularly in large public companies, with a preference for Big 4 experience.
  • Strong professional presence and ability to effectively communicate expertise to clients.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments are essential.
  • High energy and a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
  • Demonstrated career advancement and professional growth.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and the ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships at all organizational levels.
