Core Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest accommodations, corridors, elevators, and designated areas.
  • Deliver requested items to guest rooms, including linens and amenities.
  • Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces, and recreational facilities.
Key Duties
  • Physically capable of walking, kneeling, and standing for extended periods while executing cleaning tasks.
  • Strip beds, collect soiled linens, and manage waste disposal in accordance with established protocols.
  • Inspect and clean under furniture, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to keep guest areas free of debris.
  • Dust and sanitize furniture, fixtures, and appliances as per standards.
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms, ensuring all surfaces are sanitized.
  • Report any lost items, damages, or maintenance issues to the supervisory staff.
  • Receive and manage assigned cleaning supplies and requests from supervisors.
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to guests and colleagues, addressing any concerns promptly.
Qualifications
  • Ability to adapt to varying workloads based on hotel occupancy.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to efficiency.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding guest and hotel information.
Experience and Skills
  • Minimum of 1 year in a hospitality role or similar environment.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • High School diploma or GED required; further education is a plus.
  • Knowledge of safety and security protocols within hospitality settings.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Energetic, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
