Shorepoint Health Port Charlotte is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Responsibilities- Assist with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab, demonstrating critical thinking skills and judgment.
- Perform studies timely, under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
- Current certification as a Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including on-call commitments.
