Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. As a key member of our diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization team, you will be responsible for assisting with complex procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, EP device implants, and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, EP device implants, and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Prepare and maintain equipment, including Impella, IABP, Shockwave, and CSI/Jetstream/Laser equipment
- Monitor and maintain Volcano monitoring systems
- Provide general skills, including scrubbing, monitoring, circulating, and EKG interpretation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records
- 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Experience with specific equipment and procedures, including Impella, IABP, and balloon angioplasty
- BLS, ACLS, and FL license required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is a short-term acute care facility with 222 staffed beds. Our Cardiac Catheterization Lab is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest technology and equipment.
