About the Role

As a key member of the Medtronic Foundation team, you will play a critical role in driving the organization's strategic operations and ensuring the effective execution of its philanthropic initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an operations strategy that maximizes resources and drives efficiency and results for the Medtronic Foundation.
  • Design, lead, and facilitate operating mechanisms within the Foundation, ensuring alignment with Medtronic's core business practices.
  • Oversee governance practices, grantmaking processes, data and reporting, key functional technology resources, and partner to address employee and customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal partners, including legal, finance, HR, IT, procurement, and facilities, to ensure the Foundation's operations are aligned with Medtronic's core business practices.
  • Develop, implement, and sustain process improvement initiatives using Six Sigma methodologies, ensuring programs are integrated vertically and horizontally across the organization.
  • Define improvement projects aligned with business strategies and analyze improvement programs and potential results.
  • Facilitate and coach direct reports, establishing and maintaining performance metrics to measure program success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree plus 10+ years of relevant experience (or 8+ years with an advanced degree) along with 7+ years of progressive leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading an operational function.
  • Experience in community service as a board member, advisory committee member, volunteer, or donor.
  • Experience working for a Fortune 500 company.

Salary ranges for U.S. (excl. PR) locations (USD): $160,000.00 - $240,000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
