Position Title: Branch Manager - Landscape Maintenance (Commercial Sector)

The Branch Manager for Landscape Maintenance is responsible for the overall success and performance of the branch. This role encompasses the management of grounds upkeep, enhancements, irrigation systems, and the overall customer experience. The Branch Manager utilizes available resources and leads their team to meet and exceed company safety, quality, and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with company leadership to set and achieve future objectives while expanding branch operations through new sales initiatives.
  • Foster a culture focused on service delivery and continuous improvement of client experiences.
  • Work alongside the sales team to promote branch growth and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Establish effective communication channels among all parties involved in maintaining quality standards for client properties.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and relevant internal departments.
  • Oversee the prompt and efficient resolution of property-related issues.
  • Coordinate with the Administration team to ensure timely updates on billing, accounts payable, payroll, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Ensure the safety of branch personnel through appropriate training, daily safety meetings, and proper management of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Conduct training and performance analysis of crews, ensuring adherence to safety training programs and compliance standards.
  • Evaluate and devise strategies for the effective use of equipment and materials, including regular audits of branch and customer sites.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of branch staff, ensuring the right talent is in place to meet branch objectives.
  • Manage team performance in alignment with defined roles, responsibilities, and branch goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in managing multiple landscape operations.
  • Proven track record in effectively leading teams.
  • Familiarity with Aspire software is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

  • Capability to manage projects and achieve financial targets.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
