Position Overview: As a Strategic Partnerships Manager within Micron's Storage Business Unit, you will play a pivotal role in propelling the growth of our Datacenter Solid-State Drive (DC SSD) segment. This position involves collaborating across various functions including sales, product management, and customer relations to stimulate expansion in Micron's Solid State storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance awareness and drive adoption of Micron's Data Center SSD offerings.
- Collaborate closely with Sales to achieve robust financial outcomes for Micron's DC SSD products.
- Engage with Micron's Sales and Business Development teams to analyze customer demand and market segmentation, facilitating accurate forecasts for the Data Center SSD product line.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive SSD landscape, effectively communicating Micron's position relative to industry competitors.
- Develop a thorough comprehension of the storage market's Total Addressable Market (TAM), Serviceable Available Market (SAM), and Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) at a customer level within Enterprise, Hyperscale/Cloud, and Channel sectors.
- Articulate Micron's storage strategy to customers and industry partners.
- Represent Micron at significant Datacenter SSD industry events, delivering presentations and insights.
- Stay informed on current and emerging trends in the Datacenter computing/storage market, assessing which customers and markets are strategically viable for Micron.
- Collaborate with customers to identify key technology and innovation trends, providing insights to Product Line Managers for optimal product alignment.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, particularly with customers, sales teams, and senior management.
- Capability to comprehend complex financial, technical, and marketing data to enhance Micron's Data Center SSD business.
- Proven business acumen and analytical thinking skills.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams across diverse locations.
- Confidence in discussing technology trends with customers.
- Established relationships with Hyperscalers and OEMs.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business/Marketing; an MBA is preferred, along with over 10 years of experience in product development, marketing, and customer engagement within the storage or technology sectors. Experience with Solid State Drives is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Compensation: The estimated salary range for this full-time position is between $151,000 and $286,000. Salary determinations are based on role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
