Christus Health is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our pediatric therapy team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients aged 0-18, working under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide technical therapy care to patients, adhering to standards of the Speech Therapy Practice Act
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in speech pathology

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in English; bilingual skills are a plus
  • Certifications in Vital Stim, FEES, Metronome, Big, and Loud are preferred
  • Active Louisiana SLP License
  • Current BLS certification
  • ASHA Certification following the completion of the clinical fellowship year
