MRI Technologist

This position requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. The successful candidate will work independently, with limited supervision, to perform MRI radiological exams and provide excellent clinical care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI radiological exams at a technical level, requiring independent judgment and initiative.
- Select and operate equipment as directed, ensuring proper technical factors and film selection.
- Provide protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards and maintain order and cleanliness.
- Assist physician in the administration of opaque media and practice sterile techniques to prevent cross contamination.
- Conduct periodic quality control tests and participate in in-service programs and annual recertification training.
- High school diploma and graduate of an accredited Radiology program.
- Licensed in the State of New York in Diagnostic Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
- ARRT Registration and Basic Life Certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
- One year experience in the field of radiology preferred, but not required.
This position is active and requires constant movement to assist patients, staff, and medical providers. The employee must be able to exchange accurate information and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
