Job Summary:

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal ICU team in a PRN capacity. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns in our state-of-the-art Level III+ Lundy Family Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including vital signs and laboratory results
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
  • Participate in educational programs and training to maintain current knowledge and skills

Requirements:

  • BSN preferred; Associate degree RNs will be required to matriculate within 4 years of hire
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience required; previous NICU experience strongly preferred
  • Current Maryland RN license or other compact state license that allows practice in Maryland
  • CPR required; must be able to pass all hospital competencies required for the position
