Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Specialist to join our team at TotalMed Staffing. As a Neonatal Nurse Specialist, you will provide specialized care to newborns in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) or Neonatal settings.

Responsibilities:

* Assess neonates' health status, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for neonates and their families.
* Perform neonatal assessments, including developmental screenings and feeding evaluations, to ensure optimal growth and development.
* Educate parents on newborn care, breastfeeding techniques, and neonatal health issues for a smooth transition to home care.

Requirements:

* Current RN license
* BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
* Two years of recent Neonatal RN experience
* Strong communication and adaptability skills.
