Job Title: Radio Frequency Tester III

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Radio Frequency Tester III to join our team at Techimius Corp. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for conducting data analyses, installing, configuring, and testing tactical communications equipment and associated devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analyses to interpret and summarize results.
  • Install, configure, operate, align, and perform unit and direct support maintenance on tactical communications equipment and associated devices.
  • Perform quality control tests on circuits, trunk groups, systems, and ancillary equipment.
  • Configure the TSM (Tactical Scalable MANET) waveform for use on the Leader radio, including network and Radio Frequency configuration.
  • Configure and test the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) on the two-channel Man Pack radios.
  • Write technical reports and follow mission planning.
  • Configure and operate tactical radios.
  • Perform all other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in the utilization of Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, RF Signal Generators, Power Generators, Power Meters, and Firebirds.
  • Understanding of tactical radios, including configuring and operating tactical radios, waveforms, keying, and certificated requirements.
  • Ability to work closely with customers, senior management, program managers, and cross-discipline technical staff.
  • Experience in supporting Field test activities and assisting with the development and/or evaluation of system specifications.
  • Able to write test plans and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a respectful demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with UHF, VHF, and SRW radio wave propagation.
