Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is mandatory.
  • Preferred candidates will have two to three years of management experience alongside a minimum of three years of clinical experience in an acute care environment.
  • Current Iowa RN License and Basic Cardiac Life Support certification are required.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
We have two shifts available: one from 7am to 7pm and another from 7pm to 7am.

  • Compensation ranges from $63,000 to $84,000 annually.
  • The organization provides a comprehensive benefits package and may offer a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000.
Key Responsibilities:

  • The Clinical Nursing Manager will oversee nursing staff management, providing leadership, coaching, and guidance to ensure optimal performance.
The Clinical Nursing Manager will be a visible and approachable leader, actively supporting staff on a daily basis.

  • Engage in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Adhere to infection control policies and procedures consistently.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of hospital compliance strategies, following both hospital-wide and unit-specific protocols.
  • Facilitate scheduling processes and make necessary adjustments to meet the hospital's operational needs.
  • Provide equitable and consistent leadership across all departments.
  • Communicate quality improvement, risk management, and safety concerns to the Director and quality assurance teams.
  • Complete variance reports and address concerns promptly and accurately.
  • Participate in individualized patient care initiatives, ensuring patient satisfaction criteria are met.
  • Notify staff during emergency situations as needed.
  • Act in accordance with established hospital emergency procedures, including utilizing the hospital's emergency response plan when necessary.
  • Foster clear and positive communication among team members, promoting a culture of teamwork.
  • Serve as a resource for problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Represent the health center positively in interactions with patients and community members.

Additional Information:

  • The facility is equipped with over 200 beds. This position reports directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and is part of a newly established team.
