Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse II to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a key member of our Observation Unit - Emergency Services team, you will provide exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients assigned to your care
  • Utilize a therapeutic professional relationship with patients and their families to promote, maintain, and restore health
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate patient care and outcomes
  • Exhibit the NorthBay Way principles of Caring, Communication, Collaboration, and Competence in daily practice
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing
  • Nursing degree of BSN level or higher (excludes grandfathered employees)
  • Valid, current, and unencumbered RN license by the State of California
  • Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS and ACLS required
  • National Certification preferred
  • Professional Organization Membership preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of six months Acute Care RN experience
  • One year of Skilled Nursing Care, Long Term Acute Care, or Acute Rehabilitation experience equivalent to six months of Acute Care experience
  • Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
  • Unit-specific skills defined collaboratively with Nursing Leadership and the Nursing Education Department
