About the Job:

Role Overview:


This position is dedicated to forging exceptional partnerships with franchisees and delivering top-tier service to our veterinarian owners by advising them on best practices and offering strategic recommendations to help them achieve their objectives.

From the initial setup to ongoing operations, you will play a pivotal role in providing outstanding support and ensuring the success of our veterinary facilities.

With an emphasis on delivering premier support, you will leverage analytics to drive performance enhancements and improve the overall success of our practices.

Collaboration with various cross-functional teams, both internal and external, will be crucial to achieving our objectives across multiple time zones.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships between franchisees, veterinarian owners, and all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver exceptional consultation and concierge-level service to our veterinarian owners, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist practice owners in achieving their goals by providing data-driven recommendations and conducting thorough assessments to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Influence change through a collaborative approach to support our veterinarians.
  • Analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to assess the financial health of veterinary practices.
  • Develop action plans based on data analysis and provide recommendations to address performance challenges and drive enhancements.
  • Support initial marketing initiatives and take a leading role in organizing grand openings to create memorable experiences for all stakeholders.
  • Guide ongoing marketing efforts to attract additional clients, utilizing data analytics to refine strategies.
  • Conduct basic analytics to evaluate practice performance and identify areas for improvement, serving as a consultant to enhance operations.
  • Foster collaboration with multiple teams across various time zones to optimize operations and achieve success.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for franchisees, coordinating issue resolution and ensuring seamless business operations.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships within PetSmart Veterinary Services and among all our owners, promoting collaboration and mutual success.
  • Exhibit strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently to solve complex challenges.
  • Participate in industry conferences.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or CVPM preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in veterinary management, including roles such as practice manager, field director, or operations manager.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, inquisitive, and a self-starter who can effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with other business systems as required by specific roles.
