Equipment and Integration Service Specialist

The Surgical Service and Integration Technician acts as a trusted advisor to STERIS customers in the maintenance and procurement of medical devices and consumable products. This position drives an exceptional customer experience by providing on-site preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, equipment modifications, and installation support on all operating room equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of OR medical devices, video technology, and networking.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on STERIS surgical product lines and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
* Provide customer training and in-servicing on assigned equipment.
* Utilize technology to perform administrative duties, including scheduling and updating work activities, completing service reports, and communicating with internal and external customers.
* Establish and maintain effective communicative relationships with customers, managers, and support functions.
* Identify sales opportunities and recommend STERIS products and services to customers.
Requirements
* 1-2 years of technical field service experience in the healthcare products industry or equivalent technical school training.
* Strong technical knowledge of OR medical devices, video technology, and networking.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
