We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Independence Corrugated, a leading manufacturer of corrugated products. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal production levels.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize disruptions.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school education or degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; corrugated industry experience a plus.
  • Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to read and understand schematics; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet and humid conditions, and moderate noise levels.
