Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Atlantic Sapphire. As an Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical installation, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and control systems in a water and wastewater industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including controls and electrical equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Calibration and Testing: Calibrate control equipment to factory specifications, including flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature transducers, level sensors, pH sensors, and O2 sensors.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular preventive maintenance on controls systems, VFDs, AC motors, and pumps to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Corrective Maintenance: Perform corrective maintenance on controls systems, VFDs, AC motors, and pumps to resolve issues and get equipment back online.
  • Electrical Installation: Install new electrical conduit, boxes, panels, transformers, industrial control panels, and pull and terminate new wires and cables to current NEC electrical codes.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Electrical Systems Knowledge: Working knowledge of 120/208 and 277/480 VAC electrical systems.
  • PLC/HMI Experience: Experience with PLC/HMI setup and control, including the ability to use existing HMI and PLC interface to operate and troubleshoot equipment controls.
  • Electrical Testing: Ability to use various electrical testing equipment, including multi-meters and megohmmeters.
  • Team Player: Trustworthy team player with a positive attitude who can work independently and collaboratively with all departments and levels within the company.
Work Environment

This job operates in a combined office and farm/production and construction environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to collaborate with team members.

Physical Demands
  • Climbing: Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Kneeling and Crawling: Ability to kneel and crawl in tight spaces.
  • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
