About the Role:
This full-time, permanent position involves overseeing clinical operations, providing direct nursing care, collaborating with healthcare professionals, developing patient care plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate clinical operations for the cardiology department, focusing on excellence in patient care and staff performance.
  • Provide direct nursing care to cardiology patients, concentrating on diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, patient education, and symptom management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, aligning with departmental goals and best practices.
  • Monitor patient progress, document outcomes, and communicate effectively with patients and families to promote understanding and engagement in care plans.
  • Support and mentor nursing staff, fostering professional development and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiology nursing required.
  • CV-BC certification required.
  • BSN required.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Estimated Salary Range:$100,000 - $120,000 per year,
