Substance Use Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Clinician to join our team at High Point Treatment Center. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide direct care to patients, including assessments, individual counseling, and discharge planning.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients, including assessments, individual counseling, and discharge planning
- Maintain and submit current licensure or certification necessary for the position
- Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations
- Participate in treatment team meetings and maintain assigned caseload
- Responsible for each assigned patient's medical records, providing professional, complete, and thorough entries in a timely manner
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral health field
- Minimum of one (1) year of supervised substance abuse counseling experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of the relationship between substance abuse and mental health issues
High Point Treatment Center is a health and human service agency dedicated to treating and preventing substance use disorders and mental illness. We offer a full continuum of care, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services.
