About the Opportunity

Creative Financial Staffing is seeking an experienced AP Specialist to join our team in Herndon, VA. This is a hybrid position that will involve working with our clients to follow up on utility bills, assist with reporting, and perform other financial operations tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Follow up on utility bills via phone calls
  • Assist with reporting, including payment batching
  • Support AP cash applications (2 days/week)
  • Backup to Senior AP Specialist and assigned to a bank
  • Support full cycle AP, including cleanup and understanding the cleanup cycle
  • Call vendors to validate bank accounts
  • Cleanup aging
  • Additional tasks within AP as assigned
Requirements
  • 3+ years of AP experience
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v lookups
  • NetSuite software experience a plus, but not required
  • Associate Degree or higher preferred, but not required
  • Real estate or project accounting experience a plus, but not required
