Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor junior production personnel, offering support and direction to improve skills and performance.

  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for enhancement in the production workflow and apply best practices to boost efficiency and quality.

  • Proactively update stakeholders on project status, challenges, and proposed solutions.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage the distribution of resources, including staff and equipment, to maximize productivity.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors as necessary to support production efforts.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all production outputs adhere to quality standards and meet client expectations.
  • Review and authorize proofs and final products prior to client delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Production Management, Project Management, Graphic Design).
  • Demonstrated experience in production management or a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or graphic design context.
  • Strong knowledge of production methodologies, project management practices, and team dynamics.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster relationships across teams.
  • Familiarity with project management software and production scheduling tools (e.g., Filemaker Pro).
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement frameworks.
  • A creative background or experience in graphic design is advantageous but not mandatory.
Work Environment:
  • May require occasional overtime, including evenings and weekends, to meet project deadlines.
  • A dynamic work setting with the need to adapt to shifting priorities.
