Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Coordinator to join our team at Denver Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration and discharge processes, while providing exceptional customer service to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Registration and Discharge: Accurately register and discharge patients into our electronic health record system, ensuring all necessary information is collected and updated.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Support: Perform a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, chart preparation, and cash handling.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards in patient registration and discharge processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient access or registration, is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electronic health record systems and medical terminology is required.
