Clinical Assistant

The Clinical Assistant provides essential support to physicians and surgeons, ensuring seamless patient care and administrative operations. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate patient care, facilitate effective communication among healthcare providers, and maintain accurate records.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as a liaison between physicians, patients, and healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care.
- Coordinates daily activities of the physician team to optimize operational efficiency.
- Completes patient care responsibilities, including scheduling, arranging exams, and assisting with procedures.
- Manages patient records, including sending and receiving medical information, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date files.
- Supports administrative tasks, such as inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
- Provides training and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the effective functioning of the team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A certificate in Medical Assisting or a related field.
- At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
