Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team at Real Property Associates. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for assisting one of our successful property managers with the day-to-day operations of managing single-family and multifamily residential units in the Renton, Kent, Federal Way, and South Seattle areas.

This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be working from home and in the field, managing leasing, maintenance coordination, inspections, and tenant relations.

The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience in property management, leasing, or maintenance supervision, and must be comfortable driving between 0 and 100 miles each day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leasing: Advertising/marketing rentals, scheduling and showing available units to prospective residents, move-in/move-out reports and inspections, assembling/writing leases, and ensuring lease terms are correct and enforced.
  • Vendor Management: Scheduling and coordinating with vendors for various maintenance items, managing vendor proposals, tracking and approving work identified in work orders and maintenance requests.
  • Tenant Management: Maintaining communication and cordial relationships with all current and future tenants, responding to questions relating to lease information, property questions, break lease information, and rent submitted by tenants.
  • Maintenance and Property Services: Responding to maintenance requests submitted by tenants, scheduling as needed, visiting all properties on a regular schedule, ensuring property services are being performed as promised.
