Responsibilities:
  • Lead a crew of up to 4 individuals in completing cleanup and pruning maintenance tasks on our landscapes.
  • Operate commercial hedge trimmers, prune and shape bushes, edge mulch beds, and lay mulch in a timely manner.
  • Assist with loading and unloading work trucks, ensuring compliance with company safety policies.
  • Drive a truck and trailer, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Work effectively with others in a team environment, providing excellent customer service.
  • Supervise crews in an efficient, polite, and timely manner, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding property quality and crew member performance.
  • Utilize a scheduling app on your phone to check in and out of jobs.
  • Perform additional duties, including digging holes, planting trees and shrubs, laying mulch, and sod.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid, clean driver's license with a good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Speak and understand English fluently.
  • Be reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
  • Have a genuine interest in landscaping and a desire to work in the industry.
  • Possess at least 1 year of experience running a crew of 2 or more members, including driving a truck and trailer and operating commercial mowing equipment.
Physical Demands:
  • Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body.
  • Be able to reach overhead.
  • Work in various standing and bending positions for extended periods.
  • Lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete job tasks.
  • Work outdoors for extended periods.
Miscellaneous:
  • Work 40 hours per week during the in-season period.
  • Be paid weekly.
  • Participate in a drug-free workplace, with the possibility of a pre-employment drug test.

Required Experience: 1 year of commercial lawn care experience as a crew leader.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
