About the Role

At DXP Enterprises, we are seeking an exceptional Industrial Sales Development Specialist to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual to drive sales growth in our Oregon and SW Washington territory.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic plans and accurate forecasts for accounts, communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and resolving unique customer issues proactively. Additionally, they will grow and maintain new and existing accounts, stay up-to-date on the latest trends in machining, and identify new sales/service opportunities within their territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic plans and accurate forecasts for accounts

  • Identify new sales/service opportunities within the territory
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' outside sales experience selling industrial supplies
  • Customer-service oriented mentality
  • Computer literate
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience generating proposals and solutions
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work productively with minimal supervision
